Engagement Party Ideas & Engagement Parties

An engagement party is a time to celebrate the newly engaged couple.  It gives family and friends a chance to share in the excitement of the news and to show their support and love.  Not every engaged couple will have an engagement party.  Traditionally the parent's of the bride will host the engagement party, however, lots of times the bride and groom will host the party themselves.  Many engagement parties are held in a home and are a chance to bring the families from both the bride and groom together.  In many instances this may be the first time the two families meet each other.
