Shipping Methods & Times

PLEASE NOTE: The Wedding Outlet only ships within the United States.

Candle Orders (unity candles, favors): to avoid melting during shipment due to high temperatures, we encourage the purchase of candles to be done prior to June 1. From June 1 - September 1, we recommend all candles be shipped using our express method to guarantee candles arrive safely. If express shipment is not selected at checkout and the item(s) arrives melted, the item will not be accepted for exchange, return or refund.

Please note: we do our best to specify processing times for each item. However, if a candle is in your order, it may be delayed beyond the estimated processing time. Candles are typically not shipped on Thursdays or Fridays during the summer months to avoid melting while in transit regardless if Ground or Express is selected. Packages remain on a high-temperature truck or warehouse during weekends/non-delivery days. We appreciate your patience as we determine the best shipping method and time for your order.

Shipping Methods

Standard Ground - Your package will be sent via FedEx Home Delivery, FedEx Ground, UPS or United States Postal Service (USPS) after your order has been processed.

Express 2nd Day - Your package will be shipped via FedEx 2nd Day or UPS 2nd day after your order has processed. Please note that express packages are delivered Monday-Friday.

Free Ground Shipping - Orders over $199 receive free Standard shipping throughout the contiguous United States. Packages shipping to HI, AK or PR will be assessed additional fees as stated at checkout. If it is a large package, such as favors, we will charge you the actual shipping fees regardless of ship to location. You will be contacted before the order is processed for approval on any extra shipping charges.

Multiple Packages

Multiple packages may ship in order to successfully complete an order. Occasionally packages may ship from an alternate warehouse to expedite processing. A confirmation email will be sent to confirm shipping of each package sent. The email will include the contents and the tracking number of the package. If your order ships in multiple packages, you will receive them within a few days apart.

Signature Service

In some areas, delivery may require a signature or an actual person to receive the package.

Incorrect Addresses

If an incorrect address is provided at checkout, a fee may be assessed. Depending on the carrier, the fee ranges from $11-$14. This fee to update an address once the order has been shipped may be applied to your credit card. Please be sure to enter the full address correctly! Omitting an apartment number, floor number, etc may cause delay in delivering of your package and an address correction fee.

Missing/Damaged Items

Upon receipt of your order, please thoroughly inspect your package for any discrepancies or damages and notify us within 5 business days.
