Sand Ceremony Sets

This elegant heart unity sand holder includes: one glass heart vase with rubber seal cork, glass stopper and wire base. The vase can hold up to 20 ounces of sand (not included).

This beautiful unity sand set includes: one glass vase with hanging charm, two smaller glass vases, one white rubber cap for the tall vase, white sand and ivory sand. A silver chain wraps around the large vase and holds the charm, which is silver-plated with white epoxy. The charm reads "Together Forever" with an icon below it that is raised and shines with the surrounding light. The perfect set for your sand ceremony.

The large vase holds 22 oz. of sand. This sand kit comes with 2 packages of sand (each package is 11 oz.) One package is white and the other is light brown.

These colorful sands are ideal for a unity sand ceremony.  The fine texture of this sand also makes it perfect to use as a decorative touch to a table centerpiece or anything else that may need a "sandy" touch.

If you are using this for a sand ceremony, but sure to select a different color for each participant!

During the ceremony each color is poured into the tall cylinder one by one (usually the celebrant adds the white sand first) and then all three are added together at the top to symbolize the union. The two large heart cut vases are used by the bride and groom and can be engraved with a single initial. The smaller, 3rd vase can be used to incorporate your priest, child or shared spiritual beliefs. This vase may also be engraved with a single initial. If you would like more vases to accommodate more people in the ceremony (parents, children etc) you can purchase additional Heart Shaped Alternate Vases (sold separately).

Pricing includes complimentary engraving. Due to spacing, date must be numeric and names cannot be accommodated. Just initials for side vases and monogram for center vase. Font is as shown. How the Sand Ceremony Works:
1) The Groom will start by pouring a portion of colored sand into the central vase.
2) The Bride then pours a portion of a different color sand into the central vase, creating a layered effect.
3) To complete the ceremony, the Groom and Bride simultaneously pour the balance of their sand into the central vase.
4) Following the wedding, the two outside vases can be used to display fresh flowers while the central vase will remain a cherished keepsake of your wedding day.

2.  You may then present the completed and sealed love letters to your officiant.  Plan with your officiant the readings and special comments that will accompany the ceremonial sealing of the box.  Be sure that the special sentiments that are at the heart of this ceremony are explained to your guests.  Locked inside will be your personally selected bottle of wine (not included), the two goblets and the sealed love letters.  Consider also inlcuding flower petals, a small vile of sand or any other personal momentos that will fit inside the box.  Together with your officiant and witnessed by your guests, perform the ceremonial "Locking of the Box".  This will symbolize the commitment your are making to each other from this day forward.

3.  After the wedding, display the Love Letter Ceremony Box Set in your home.  Store the key in a safe place so that you can unlock and enjoy the contents on your special day.

Suggested Guidelines:
The Red Rose Promise Card should be filled out prior to the ceremony. The card is intended to be a signed and dated keepsake of the wedding day. A rose should be handed out to each individual that will be included in the ceremony. Those included might be family members, children or even the bridal party. (This is determined by the preference of the bride and groom.) The Officiant will then place one rose in each of the outer vases to represent the bride and groom.

At a pre-chosen time, those that have been given a rose will place them into the central vase as a representation of the love they have for the bride and groom. As an option, the bride and groom may choose to collect the roses from the individuals and place the resulting rose bouquet in the central vase themselves.

After the vows have been completed and the Officiant announces the new Mr. and Mrs. They will then each be handed the roses from the outer vases, while the guests are informed of the meaning behind the ceremony. It is appropriate that the first gift the bride and groom give to each other as husband and wife should be love. As a single rose carries the meaning “I love you”, they will then exchange their roses and give the greatest gift that either one of them has to share.

After the exchange has been completed the bride and groom will then place their new rose in to the central vase, merging their love with the love of their family and friends.

Alternatively the bride and groom may choose to present their symbolic rose to their parents as opposed to adding it to the bouquet created in the central vase.

Tip: If the bride and groom will be including their roses in the bouquet, choosing a different color of rose will allow them to stand out. A preserved single rose or rose petals added to the Promise Card before tucking it away will serve as a loving keepsake from this romantic ceremony.
