Description
A unique alternative to the candle-lighting ceremony, the sand ceremony symbolizes the marriage union. The large vase is imprinted with white linked hearts and may be personalized with the couples names and wedding date.
This sand ceremony kits comes with one large vase and 3 small vases. The large vase holds 48 oz. (3 lbs) of sand. (Sand sold separately.)
If interested in additonal side vases to include more children in your ceremony consider the complimenting Tube Shaped Side Vase (sold separately).
SAND WEDDING CEREMONY: To reflect the joining and blending of two lives into one, it is suggested to fill one cylinder with white sand to represent the couple's spiritual foundation and to fill the other two cylinders each with a different colored sand to represent the individuals. During the ceremony each color is poured into the tall cylinder one by one (usually the celebrant adds the white sand first) and then all three are added together at the top to symbolize the union.
